There are many towns and villages across the Northern Rivers, these are just a few.

Larger Towns

Tweed Heads: Located on the border with Queensland, known for its beaches and waterways.

Kingscliff: A coastal town with beautiful beaches and a growing tourism industry.  

Cabarita Beach (Bogangar): Known for its stunning beaches around Norries Headland and laid-back atmosphere.

Brunswick Heads: A laid-back coastal village with a beautiful river.

Mullumbimby: A town with a strong alternative and spiritual community.

Bangalow: A historic village with emporium shops and cafes.  

Lennox Head: Known for its world-renowned surfing break.  

Ballina: A coastal town located at the mouth of the Richmond River.  

Alstonville: A charming village known for its scenic views to the coast.

Lismore: A regional center with a strong arts and cultural scene.  

Kyogle: A town in the heart of the Northern Rivers hinterland.  

Casino: A rural town known for its beef industry.
